VEX Robotics
Our after school Robotics program believes that elementary and middle school years are very important years to spark students’ curiosity in STEAM. Through robotics, many concepts in engineering, science, and math are learned naturally building and controlling robots. This club will continually strive to develop independent thinkers and workers who take pride in their robot, their team, and their Christian beliefs.
Engineering Team: open to students in grades 4th-8th. Teams within the team consist of 2-5 students who build and program a robot for the current year’s challenge. Practice is one day a week after school beginning in October. Teams compete at a minimum of two Saturday tournaments in the Winter and may qualify and have the option to continue on. Head coach is currently Mike Seitzer.
