VFW Contest Winner Wins State & Advances To National Level

In November, winners were announced in the Brainerd Veterans of Foreign Wars “What the American Flag Means to Me” Essay Competition. Three of our 5th grade students won 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

First place winner, Grace Sarvie, advanced to the State level winning first place again. She now will be competing at the National level. Way to go Grace, we are so proud of you!
