Now Hiring: Band Director (Grades 4–8)

St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic School is seeking a full-time Band Director to lead and inspire our 4th–8th grade students beginning in the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for music education, the ability to develop strong student musicianship, and a commitment to fostering a joyful, faith-filled learning environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the band program for grades 4–8, including lessons, rehearsals, and performances.

  • Create engaging, age-appropriate music instruction that supports student growth and confidence.

  • Collaborate with faculty, parents, and parish community to enrich the school’s arts and faith culture.

  • Provide opportunities for students to perform and develop a love of music.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related experience (preferred).

  • Current teaching license (preferred).

  • Prior classroom and band direction experience (preferred).

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • A willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
