2025 Track & Field Day
This past Wednesday, our 3rd & 4th grade students attended Brainerd’s annual track & field day at Brainerd High School. It was a huge success, with sunny skies, cool breezes, and lots of joyful laughter and achievements. Leading up to this event, students have been practicing running, jumping, and hula hoop tossing skills in PE, and then they got to choose a field or running activity to compete in at the event. They also rounded out the day competing as teams in running relay races.
Additionally, this day also provided an opportunity to truly witness the impact our teachings and values have on our students. Captured below, 4 of our fourth-grade students gathered, entirely on their own, to pray before their upcoming race. Surrounded by students from other schools, these girls didn’t hesitate to turn to their faith as a source of strength, and Mrs. Johnson really put it best in her statement, “this is what it’s all about.”
