St Francis Catholic School Foundation Online Event 2020

In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic and concern for the well-being of the Saint Francis Catholic School Foundation Dinner guests and attendees, this year the dinner will take on a virtual spin. We invite you to join from the comfort of your home. But we promise it will be entertaining and informative. The dinner committee has risen to challenge – the 23rd annual Dinner or rather virtual event is set for Friday, September 25th at 6:00 p.m.

What does this mean for you as an attendee? Whether you still get decked-out in your finest attire or keep it casual, we assure you it will be enjoyable, enlightening and engaging.

As you are aware COVID-19 has posed challenges for students and staff. From March 2020 through the end of 2019/2020 school year our teachers and students participated in “distance learning”. The foundation has provided monetary support over the past ten years for Technology advances at the school, which included the purchase of I-Pads and laptops. The school’s distribution of these devices for student’s use at home was essential to being able to complete the school year. We were further blessed by Principal Jen Nagel’s past experience with distance learning. Her expertise and steady hand were invaluable. How grateful we are to God for these gifts!

Was it a consideration to postpone or skip the foundation year this year? No. While we agree it will be different, we have also seen the direct impact the foundation has had on the student’s learning experiences, and it is vital to fulfill the foundation’s mission for Saint Francis Catholic School. Now more than ever, we need your involvement and support.

Please join us for this fun and unique event. We may not be sharing a meal together, but each attendee will receive a Party Box. We don’t’ want to give away all the surprises, but it will include a gift from our students and celebratory items for the evening of September 25th
