Fish Fry Fridays Are Back! What you need to know!

Time for community, yummy food and FUN!

The Fish Fries are held every Friday evening during Lent, except Good Friday, in the St. Francis Church Social Hall in the lower level of the Church.  While the Fish Fries raise money for the school, they are also an opportunity for our kids to give back to the Church community that supports our school.  An added bonus is the community building for our school family.  When everyone participates on their class’ assigned night, we are able to get the job done—many hands make light work!

All families are asked to help! Please volunteer on signupgenius.com for the shift that works for your family on your assigned evenings. If you have multiple students, please serve on every night your students are assigned. If you cannot make your assigned night, we ask that you sign up for another.  Only parents need to sign up on signupgenius.com, but we will also have your kids sign in when they arrive to help.

You will find a list of job descriptions to help you decide what duties best fit into your schedule and skill set.  The kids love to help out, and we encourage you to work with your kids.  Students in Fifth through Eighth grade are welcome to come over to the Church after school, and they will be put to work.  They will need to stay in the Church basement and help out as we are unable to supervise them if they go outside.  We ask that students Fourth grade and under be supervised by an adult, whether they be the parent or another adult with whom the parent has made arrangements.  We want the students to have fun, but we are unable to supervise them outside of the Church basement.  The guests LOVE to see the kids working and so appreciate all that the kids do to make the evening successful.

We also ask that each family bring a dessert on their scheduled night.  These may be purchased or homemade (please mark if your item includes nuts).  Please bring the dessert to the Kitchen by 3:30pm (or as soon as possible) on the day your class is assigned to serve. Please check in and drop your coats and bags in the St. Bonaventure room.
