Robotics Team Succeeds at Holiday Hoedown
Another amazing competition in the books for the St Francis Robotics program! On Thursday, December 29th, we had the privilege of competing at the PACT ES/MS Holiday Hoedown in Ramsey, MN. We brought 4 our of teams- The Baconators, Royal Chihuahuas, The Derpy Turtles, and Fire Thunder Dogs to compete and we are beyond estatatic with their results. This kids have worked hard this season and for 2 of or teams it was their first time competing! They showed excellent sportsmanship and respect to their alliance teams and were willing to help each other out when they needed help with their robots.
* The Baconators placed 1st with the Royal Chihuahuas with a final score of 105, and 2nd in skills with
Royal Chihuahuas being 1st in skills.
* The Derpy Turtles placed 2nd in competition with a score of 55, and 5th in skills.
* Fire Thunder Dogs placed 8th in competition with a score of 9, and 12th in skills.
