Family Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament - Tuesdays

 I am very happy to share with you that again this year, we will be having Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the St. Francis School chapel.  I hope that you will consider participating in this wonderful form of worship and prayer.  We need you to make this a success!  It is a great opportunity for us to pray for our St. Francis students, families, staff, priests, and our own personal intentions, but most of all to spend time with our Lord, adoring and growing closer to Him.

 Here’s how it works.

  • Adoration will take place each Tuesday from 8:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. starting on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.The first “hour” will be from 8:45 to 9:30, then hourly from 9:30 to 2:30 p.m.

  • Adorers sign up for one hour time slots. If needed, you may split your time with someone, but we can never leave Jesus unattended when exposed in the monstrance.

  • Due to our priests ever changing schedules, there may be days when exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is not possible. Those days, we will adore Jesus in the tabernacle.

  • We should have 2 people signed up per hour, to allow coverage in case someone cannot be there for their scheduled hour.

  • You may commit to any number of weeks during the month, weekly or perhaps just one or two. Consider partnering with a friend and taking turns attending Adoration and watching each other’s children. The important part is that you set your date with Jesus and keep it!

  • You may call/text or email me with your preferred hour.

  • If you can’t commit to be there weekly or monthly for the whole year, but are willing to be on a sub list, please let me know. We often need subs, so that is very important and helpful, too!

Adoration has been a true blessing in my own life and family, and I hope that you will take advantage of this great opportunity to grow closer to God in His Real Presence in the Eucharist.  I understand that for many, your schedules will not allow you to commit to a scheduled hour.  Please come when you can, even if only for a short time.  And please pray for the success of this endeavor!
