Archery Tournament Results
After our three weeks of archery, we culminated with an archery tournament to test out our developing skills. The tournament took place over three days during the week of March 1-5th, 2021, with each age group having an opportunity to shoot 15 arrows. 3rd and 4th grade shot from a distance of 10 meters, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th all shot from a distance of 15 meters.
We had many wonderful sponsors who helped make tournament a success and who provided prizes for the participants. Between Beimert Outdoors and The Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA) two new hunting bows were donated. The MDHA also donated some outdoor gear, and relevant literature. The St. Francis Knights of Columbus provided $200 worth of gift cards to Beimert Outdoors. Culver's of Baxter donated free custard to each participant and a sweatshirt. Peter Lodermeier donated a guided turkey or whitetail hunting experience on some prime hunting land. And many others provided logistical support.
